Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Architect to join our dynamic team. The Enterprise Architect will play a crucial role in aligning our business objectives with our technology solutions by defining the current state and planning our next steps to achieve the future state of our tech stack. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of both business and technology landscapes, with the ability to architect and design innovative solutions that drive business success. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and collaboration skills to work closely with various stakeholders across the organization. As the first Enterprise Architect at Grow, we are seeking not only a leader in their field, but an individual capable of building this discipline within our organization to define and drive stated business outcomes through process and technology modernization.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor of Arts/Science degree in the field of computer science or related field from an accredited college or university, or 3-5 years' experience in lieu of degree, is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a hands-on technical capacity required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in an Enterprise Architecture capacity required
  • 1-year experience in financial industry preferred.
  • Preferred experience working in an Agile working environment.
  • Candidates should have a solid background in enterprise architecture, including experience in designing and implementing complex systems and solutions within large organizations. This involves understanding various architectural domains such as application architecture, data architecture, infrastructure architecture, and security architecture.
  • Experience with and knowledge of an enterprise architectural framework such as TOGAF to be used for documentation, planning, and governing of our current and future technology architecture.
  • Must demonstrate superior communication/interpersonal skills and outstanding organizational skills, exercise exceptional independent judgment, effectively prioritize work, and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Must be able to work independently and maintain tight schedules.

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and type English.
  • Must be able to hear and use a telephone.
  • Use of computer requires repetitive keystrokes.

Work Environment

  • This role is fully remote, with the option to work from our HQ or retail locations.
  • In this role, you'll participate in a departmental rotation of afterhours 'on call'.
  • In this role, you'll participate in weekend coverage to support application upgrades.
