Accountable for the strategy, prioritization and planning for IT systems and projects. Partner with business leaders, SMEs to understand how the functions operate today and what challenges are faced. Lead the analysis of the current state of business processes and systems. Establish functional IT governance to define an overall vision, strategy and priorities to address unmet business needs. Lead the definition of future state IT Roadmap by establishing strong business relationships, creating a strategic roadmap for realizing the vision and articulating technology impact to business processes and overall organization. Partner with IT Leaders to ensure research IT roadmap aligns with infrastructure, security and/or corporate systems' roadmaps. Collaborate with global finance for the planning, approval and reporting of budgets and forecasts. Lead the definition of conceptual and logical architecture across the system's landscape for the assigned business function. Participate in Industry and Technology conferences to assess best practices and technology innovations. Keep up to date with global regulations. Accountable for planning and delivering global solutions based on priorities identified on functional IT strategy and roadmap. Facilitate Project Steering Committees in collaboration with Business Owner and Project Manager. Represent business needs to the broader EIT organization such as Infrastructure teams, Architects and IT Operations. Partner with ITQA, Business Owner and IT Project Manager for defining a master validation strategy where applicable. Partner with R&D IT Architects for solution design and system integration. Maintain portfolio budgets forecasts in partnership with Finance. Communicate financial and project status of projects to MDC Planning. Partner with Procurement for vendor selection, qualification and contracting. Communicate the vision, strategy, roadmap and status to business, finance and IT stakeholders on a regular basis. Oversee vendor performance for the implementation of such global systems.. Requires: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, or Business Administration or closely related field plus 2 years of work experience in Pharma in job offered or as Product Manager/Global Delivery Lead. Also requires 2 years of leadership experience with/using the following (which may have been gained concurrently): Supporting Regulatory and/or Safety functions in a global environment; Supporting Regulatory processes such as Submissions Management, Labelling, Publishing and Registration tracking; Working with Regulatory Planners, Publishers, Safety Officers, Case Processers, Medical Writers, Labelling authors and study teams; Supporting Safety processes, such as Case in-take, Case processing, Risk management and Safety reporting; Business Intelligence technologies such as Tableau, Spotfire, Business Objects; SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT and predictive analytics; Leading teams and driving results with multiple projects across several functional areas; Portfolio management, project planning, development, and delivery; Managing projects in collaboration with external partners (managed service organizations, technology vendors, and consulting companies); Managing application / system changes in accordance with computer system validation, 21 CFR Part 11 and GxP policies.
