QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN

Toledo, Ohio custom electrical connector design and manufacturing company seeks a Quality Control Technician as follows:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

* Inspect and dimensionally measure machined, stamped, and molded components for compliance to applicable drawing

* Maintain records on all components inspected and their respective suppliers

* Participate in maintaining ISO 9000 & AS9100 certifications

* Perform first article layout inspection and approval

* Advise engineering of any discrepancies regarding designs or tolerances

* Set up and operate various types of test equipment

* Maintain contact with production personnel to resolve any production quality-related problems

* Maintain and operate tool and test equipment calibration program

QUALIFICATIONS AND PREREQUISITES:

* Self-starter

* Attention to detail

* Problem solving with math, writing and communication skills

* Familiar with MS Office software: Word and Excel in particular - required

* Ability to use MS Office software including Word and Excel

* Reading of drawings and schematics

* Ability to set up and use inspection hand tools

* Must work well with others

* 2-year technical college certificate or equivalent experience desirable

* ISO 9000 experience preferred

COMPENSATION:

* Pay in accordance with skill level and related experience

* Minimum of $20.00/hour
