U.S. Reporter (Level 1 Journalist), The Insurer, Reuters
Looking for a new challenge? Want to cover a vibrant segment of the financial services sector as part of the Thomson Reuters organization? If so, this might be the job for you.
The Insurer - now part of Reuters News - is a market-leading specialty (re)insurance news, analysis and data service. We're looking for a U.S. Reporter to join our New York based team to break news for The Insurer and deliver leading news to our global audiences.
Our scope is global but our focus is on underwriting and distribution in the area of complex risk, and the capital, infrastructure and services that support it.
Insurance and reinsurance play a critical role enabling almost every area of the global economy in a fast-changing risk environment shaped by diverse factors from climate change to cyber threats.
Our coverage provides a highly engaged audience with business critical intelligence and information to help them navigate that evolving landscape.
We are looking for a reporter to join our growing US team to cover the sector for our flagship title The Insurer and its sister publications Program Manager, E&S Insurer and Cyber Risk Insurer.
We would prefer some experience of reporting the insurance or at least financial services sector, but of greater importance is a demonstrable track record of picking up reporting beats involving technical, sometimes complex, subjects and quickly delivering high quality content.
