Nokia of America Corporation, Software Architect, Mobile RF Radio (Multiple Positions) Dallas, TX.

WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.)


Nokia of America Corporation, Software Architect, Mobile RF Radio (Multiple Positions) Dallas, TX. Embedded software development, including requirements/specification/architecture, design/coding, integration, testing, debugging and problem solving for implementing new features/hardware for the cellular radio products focusing on 5G / mMIMO / LTE and legacy 3G/2G technologies. Work closely with project teams and stakeholders from local location and foreign locations, in areas such as 4G, 5G, RFSW, hardware R&D, Verification teams, Beamer, FPGA, L1 Integration and production/manufacturing teams for Radios. Define software architectures for remote radio heads used for cellular base station application. Handle budgetary estimations including resourcing of own feature development for multi-million dollar radio product development. #LI-DNI


JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of related work experience.

Must have gained at least 5 years of work experience with each of the following: Radio architecture for products focusing on 5G, mMIMO, LTE and legacy 3G/2G technologies; Software design in embedded systems, including C or C++; HW-SW interfaces; SW integration with HW and SoC - HW platform bringup; UML and BPMN modeling - Visio, PlantUML; Version control systems - GIT,SVN; Linux; SW and HW debugging tools, including gdb, JTAG, and lauterbach; Yocto, Linux kernel and platform kernel drivers development; Real-time operating systems; BTS communication protocols and interfaces, including OBSAI, CPRI, and eCPRI; RF Test and Measurement (Signal generators/analyzers); LTE and 5G Signal processing and analysis.

Telecommuting permitted up to 40% within commuting distance of Dallas, TX may be permitted, depending on business need.

Domestic travel required up to 10% of the time.

International travel required up to 10% of time.
