Job Description
The Light Vehicle Planning group serves as the North American market 'Voice of the Customer' for the global Hyundai Motor Group and is responsible for all Sedans, SUVs, and Pick-Ups under the Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis Brands. Key group responsibilities include long-term vehicle planning, vehicle concept development, functional objectives/planning, as well as market, consumer, and competitive analysis
*Key Project: US Market Strategy Topic (specific topic TBD)
*Comprehensive report on selected topic including recommendations for HMG direction or actions
*Other Light Vehicle Planning projects as applicable, including:
*Competitive intelligence reporting, vehicle benchmarking, vehicle drive evaluations, etc.
*A final report is expected at the end of the internship containing:
*o Summary of project(s) with recommendations
*o Key learnings from experience working within the team and HATCI as a whole
.Job Requirements
*Passion for discovery, investigation, storytelling, consumer advocacy
*Bonus, but not required, would be in interest in or knowledge of automobiles/automotive market
*Student in junior/senior year or within 6 months of graduation; a graduate student will also be considered
*Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Engineering (desired, but not required) or other Bachelor of Science degree
*Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
