ELS is hiring for the position of Gate Attendant in Marblehead, Ohio.What you'll do:
The Gate Attendantposition includes monitoring gate access for members and guests, answering phone calls when office is closed, sign in contractors and vendors, and monitor radio communication with security.
Your job will include:
- Greet members/guests.
- Check trailered watercraft delivered to correct dock.
- Make sure member's decals are displayed properly on their windshield.
- Date stamp guest passes.
- Answer phone when the Office is closed.
- Monitors radio to be in contact with Security and Office.
- Sign in contractors/vendors.
- Monitor parking lot.
- Customer service oriented.
Skills & experience you need:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic reading, writing and math skillsand the ability to use computer applications.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to assess a situation, use quick and reasonable judgment and resolve problems diplomatically.
- Exceptional customer service and communications skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Valid driver's license, good driving record and current auto insurance.
- Ability to working weekends and holidays on a regular basis.
