Position Summary:

The Assembly Technician position is responsible for routine and repetitive assembly of filters using a variety of fixtures and techniques. This position will advocate and support the Corporate Win Strategy.

Position Second Shift Hours 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm (8 hr shift) and 3:00 pm - 1:30 am (10 hr shift).

Training First Shift Hours 6:30 am - 3:00 pm (8 hr shift) and 4:30 am - 3:00 pm (10 hr shift).

Parker Benefits Package:

Starting Rate of Pay $18.00 per hour plus $1.00 per hour 2nd Shift Premium Total $19.00 per hour

Retention Bonus $750 after six months of service

Essential Functions:

Follow directions and standard work practices to assemble housing units for filter components.

Responsible for accurate product count matching customers' needs.

Prepare products for shipping by packing and labeling product based on customers' requirements.

Ensure Parker Hannifin's quality standards are being upheld by using different quality assurance. equipment including handheld and mounted devices.

Use a variety of power and hand tools to tighten, lubricate, torque and fixate components of housing unit.

Prepares necessary paperwork and reports.

Work area must be clean and clear at all times.

Qualifications:

Manufacturing or related experience preferred.

Knowledge of diagrams to ensure proper specifications are being met.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to stand for an extended period of time.

Ability to work overtime during the week and some Saturdays
