Responsibilities

SECTOR OVERVIEW

Our Environmental Sector delivers comprehensive environmental solutions to meet the full project lifecycle needs of clients in renewable energy, oil - gas, transportation, and manufacturing industries. With one of the largest multimedia air and land permitting and compliance teams in the country, we support client success in manufacturing and industry, liquids delivery and processing, natural gas storage and delivery, power generation and delivery, and transportation projects.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are currently looking for a Project Industrial Hygienist to join our California Building Sciences and Industrial Hygiene (BSI) Practice in San Francisco, CA or Northern California. TRC is fully committed to employing State-of-the-Art solutions to environmental consulting and as such, the successful candidate should have confidence in adapting to various digital applications used to enhance data collection and improve our client-s experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - TASKS

  • Coordination and execution of regulated materials surveys for asbestos-containing materials, lead-containing materials, PCB's, universal wastes etc.
  • Provide regulated materials abatement oversight and air monitoring.
  • Conduct indoor air quality, mechanical hygiene and ventilation assessments.
  • Perform moisture and microbial assessments.
  • Provide field and office support for California BSI Project Managers.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally and be available for night and weekend work, on occasion, as needed.


Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • The position requires 1-5 years of prior building sciences and industrial hygiene experience, with a strong emphasis on the commercial and industrial sectors preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with the ability to pass a motor vehicle records check along with a pre-employment background check, drug screen and physical.
  • DOSH Certified Site Surveillance Technician (CSST) required or Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC) preferred
  • CDPH Lead-Related Construction Sampling Technician, Inspector/Assessor and/or Project Monitor preferred, but not required.
  • ACAC Certified Microbial Consultant, Certified Microbial Investigator, and/or Certified Indoor Environmentalist preferred, but not required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a science discipline, industrial hygiene, public health or environmental engineering is preferred but not required.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.

Salary Range

USD $23.76 - USD $34.32 /Hr.
